The Auxiliary Services unit is responsible for the Facilities Management function at SASSETA head office, which includes security, general maintenance, refurbishment, special planning, office relocation and services such as electricity, plumbing and cleaning.
The team of five strives to ensure a secure and safe environment for staff, and to comply fully with occupational health & safety and national building regulations.
The team is also responsible for maintaining a comfortable working space for staff, and for the logistics management of SASSETA’s fleet of six vehicles.
The Occupational Health & Safety committee is comprised of staff representatives and meets regularly to identify and manage safety risks on an ongoing basis.
